Yoga Holiday 

1-5 July 2020 

I'd love for you to join myself, yoga teacher Emily Morris, for a truly special yoga holiday experience at Chateau de Montvason for five days of yoga, freshly prepared food, workshops, beach yoga, meditation and total relaxation.

It is my aim to help you let go of your stress and feel a sense of freedom and joy. 

 

Being from the UK and working with many different people of all abilities I understand the importance of getting away and pressing the pause button on real life for a while. The benefits of taking a break from reality are many, combined with yoga and time to relax with like minded people and the benefits become infinite!

Based in the beautiful French countryside, where the only sound is birdsong, Chateau de Montvason has been restored to its former luxurious glory. Each room has its own character and glamour making this the perfect space to unwind in style.

As the weather will be warm we will be taking a trip for some beach yoga followed by free time to have some fun in the sun and sea. As well as the beautiful white sandy beaches of Normandy, Chateau de Montvason has a gorgeous heated pool complete with a sun deck and lounging furniture around the pool making it the perfect place to simply be - perhaps with a glass of French wine in hand too.

If you love the glamour of the Art Deco and Art Nouveau eras then your home for five days will feel like heaven. Picture original 20s and 30s antiques, decadent bespoke comfy beds in lavishly decorated bedrooms, tranquil salons for reclining with your favourite book or in conversation with another guest, along with brilliant retro detailing - peacock feathers, disco balls and a hand painted oriental inspired reception room. 

 

There will be plenty of time for you to explore the stunning chateau grounds as well as daily yoga and meditation and few sessions of the dreamiest thing of all - evening yoga nidra around the fire pit. This is truly the best way to a restful nights sleep. By the end of the five days you will feel refreshed, light and free.

This is a special and supportive space where you can enjoy health promoting practices, a treatment of your choice from Reiki or Indian head massage and time for you. As I said, this is not your typical retreat. This is your time to uplift your energy, have some fun and nourish your soul.

Example Schedule

This is just to give you an idea of what our weekend might look like.  I will be spending time drawing together inspiration for the retreat so this schedule is subject to change.  During your stay you will have time for your treatment of either Reiki, or Indian Head Massage, more details of treatment will be shared with you ahead of time.​

Wednesday 1st:

Time to settle in and relax when you arrive (there will be snacks to enjoy)

6pm Welcome and gentle flow/yin style to settle your energy after travelling

7.30pm Dinner

9pm Yoga Nidra beneath the stars

Thursday 2nd:

8.30-10am Morning Practice

10am Brunch

Free time for walks, reading, journalling etc.

2.30-4pm Workshop

4pm Afternoon Tea

6-7pm Evening Practice

7.30pm Dinner

8.30-9pm Meditation beneath the stars

 

Friday 3rd:

8.30-10am Morning Practice

10am Brunch

11-12.30pm Workshop

Free Time

3.30pm Afternoon Tea

5.30-6.30pm Evening Practice

7.30pm Optional night out in the town. If you’d rather rest at the Chateau, a light dinner can be provided.

Saturday 4th:

9am Breakfast

10am Free time/Optional trip to the beach for yoga practice and free time

2.30pm Lunch at the chateau

6-8pm Evening Practice with Yoga Nidra

8.30pm Dinner & drinks

Sunday 5th:

Your day of departure, the following are optional. If you feel you'd like to leave early we can arrange a light breakfast or for a gentle and positive departure I will be offering time for the following. 

8.30-9.45am Morning Practice & closing circle

9.45am Brunch – make sure you get filled up for your travels!
